What you’ll do
- Install OEM integration equipment/Base Band Units (BBUs) at customer locations (Indoor shelter Equipment Racks and Outdoor Equipment Cabinets)
- Install/Test/Troubleshoot external alarms from equipment to 66 block
- Complete any customer punch corrections onsite with DC power plant/Batteryracks/and external alarms
- Maintain tracking and accountability for all materials/customer assets being installed in compliance with customer and national quality/safety standards
- Work closely with internal Network Support specialists to complete tasks onsite
- Complete all close documents requirements
- Act quickly and utilize/navigate all forms of standard communications (VPN, shared desktop, smartphones, ad-hoc conference calls, telecommuting, etc)
- Performs all tasks according to directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Travel will be required within Colorado, Western Nebraska, Wyoming, and Eastern Montana
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
- Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- At least two years related experience and/or training
Knowledge of
- Aerial or underground utilities
- OSP facilities, construction techniques and conduit records
- Easement, right of way and permit documents
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, walk, use keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally: climb stairs and stand
