The Lead Fleet Services plays a critical role in supporting the organization in asset procurement, disposal, inventory, and distribution, while ensuring accurate recordkeeping and compliance maintenance. The Fleet Services Analyst reports directly to the Sr. Director of Safety & Fleet.

What you’ll do
-
Conducts Field Audit Inventory checks for Fixed Asset Database.

Conducts gate check verification and crew inventory listings.

Maintains database of trucks and equipment locations and operators.

Data entry of records for fleet and equipment service and warranty.

New asset verification and labeling.

Assist in equipment requests and delivery processing.

Exhibits, promotes, and maintains a strong safety culture to ensure quality standards are being met in all aspects of daily operations, with a special emphasis on Fleet Assets.

Manages and reports physical asset locations and their conditions (e.g., machinery, vehicles, equipment, supplies) to Fleet Services Manager. Evaluates, obtains, and allocates physical asset resources as directed. Maximizes their use and projects future asset needs.

Monitors and evaluates vehicles and equipment for risk factors and condition according to State and Federal DOT, OSHA, and ANSI requirements as well as manufacturer’s operational guidelines.

Tracks and coordinates recall(s), warranty repairs, and maintenance agreements with applicable manufacturers and vendors.

Conducts periodic vehicle and equipment inspections across operating regions as directed by Fleet Services Manager, including travel to field locations (out of state as needed).

Analyzes and mines operational and financial fleet data to identify patterns and correlations among various data sources and formats data to support operational narratives.

Performs audits on data and resolves data quality issues.

Publishes necessary daily, weekly, and monthly reports as directed to Operations and Corporate teams.

Maintains, tracks, and analyzes fuel card platform, ensuring accurate data, assignments, and usage. Collaborates with Fleet Services Manager to identify potential fraudulent charges and opportunities for cost savings.

Participates in meetings for Corporate Fleet Operations.

What you’ll need

High school diploma or GED equivalency.
-
Mechanical knowledge and familiarity with work orders to ensure repairs are done in a timely manner and/or the necessary repairs are completed.

Develop relationships across departments and with other fleet team members to partner together to complete work orders and follow up on repairs.
-
Valid State driver's license (cannot be considered Provisional), including an MVR record that is deemed acceptable by the company.

Proficiency in Microsoft Office, Excel, and Google Suite with the ability to learn new systems and software related to the role.

Prior experience in automotive fleet services, logistics or related experience.

Prior experience with title and registration compliance in a fleet setting is.

Prior knowledge of DOT rules and regulations.

Strong Interpersonal skills and ability to interact and work with staff at all levels.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to project professionalism in client and employee interactions.

Ability to be resourceful and proactive when issues arise.

Collaborative approach and friendly attitude when supporting Teams.

Ability to travel outside of the reporting region as needed on short notice. Short notice would be atypical.

Working knowledge of Fleet Management Systems, preferred.

Experience with vehicle repair and maintenance, collision repair and systems/components design, preferred.
