We’re looking for a motivated and detail-oriented Human Resources Specialist to join our team at an entry level at our Piedmont, SC office. In this role, you’ll support key HR functions such as maintaining employee files, recruiting, onboarding, employee support, benefits coordination, and maintaining compliance with company policies and employment laws.
The ideal candidate has strong communication and organizational skills, is comfortable learning HR systems and tools, has some experience in an hHR department and is eager to grow in the field. This position is a great opportunity to gain hands-on experience and contribute to a positive workplace culture while building a foundation in human resources within a fast-paced environment.

What you’ll do

Assist with recruiting activities, including posting jobs, reviewing resumes, scheduling interviews, and supporting onboarding processes using applicant tracking systems (ATS).

Help coordinate employee benefits enrollment and respond to basic benefits-related questions.

Support compliance efforts by maintaining accurate employee records and following company policies and employment laws.

Participate in new hire orientation and assist with training and development programs.

Provide day-to-day support for employee questions and help escalate workplace concerns when needed.

Assist with performance management processes, including tracking review deadlines and maintaining documentation.

Enter and update employee information in HR systems (HRIS) accurately and in a timely manner.

Support recruiting efforts through job boards, social media, and other sourcing channels.

Help with basic HR projects and initiatives, such as employee engagement activities or process improvements.

Maintain confidentiality of employee information and HR records.
What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

0–2 years of experience in an HR role, internship, or administrative position.

Basic understanding of HR functions such as recruiting, onboarding, and employee relations.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills.

Know or ability to learn quickly, how to navigate an HRIS system (SAP or similar).

Detail-oriented with good organizational and time management abilities.

Comfortable learning and using HR systems, databases, and Microsoft Office tools.

Ability to handle sensitive information with professionalism and confidentiality.

Willingness to learn employment laws, HR policies, and best practices.

Ability to work both independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
