What you’ll do
- Develop and maintain partnerships with our leaders to learn the business and offer counsel and support on HR-related matters.
- Maintain positive relationships with employees to offer support by addressing questions, concerns, and developmental needs. Provide coaching to employees as needed.
- Collaborate closely with management and employees to foster culture and morale, boosting productivity and retention.
- Work with leadership to manage and resolve complex employee relations issues. Conduct effective, thorough, and objective investigations.
- Provide daily performance management guidance to managers regarding employee coaching, disciplinary actions, performance improvement, and career development.
- Identify training needs for business units and individual development needs. Partner with leaders to create Employee Growth Plans and collaborate with the Learning & Development team to identify opportunities for development.
- Analyze available data and employee feedback to develop solutions, programs and policies.
- Maintain knowledge of legal requirements related to day-to-day management of employees, reducing legal risks, and ensuring regulatory compliance. Partner with the legal department as needed/required.
- Lead recruitment efforts to support a growth focused organization.
- Oversees employee onboarding, collaborates with managers to plan appropriate training and development for new hires.
- Manage the promotion and transfer process to ensure timely review, processing, and communication.
- Review and approve employee terminations in HRIS.
- Responsible for managing employee information in the company HRIS and ensuring I-9 compliance.
- Other responsibilities and project work as assigned.
What you’ll need
- 8 years+ of prior experience in Human Resources and knowledge of basic labor regulations and laws
- Bachelor’s Degree in Human Resources or Business Administration and/or a minimum of 8 years of Human Resources management-level roles
- Experienced in resolving complex employee relations issues, talent acquisition, and benefits.
- Experience working across various human resource disciplines, including compensation practices, organizational diagnosis, employee relations, and performance management
- Proficiency in MS Office and/or Google Suite
Preferred Qualifications
- SHRM Certification
- Experience in supporting corporate functions, including Finance and Information. Technology and leading direct reports
- Experience with HRIS systems, including supporting the implementation and adoption of new processes and tools
