At Communications Construction Group the Director of Quality Assurance is a leadership role that oversees QC systems, processes, and initiatives to ensure the quality of telecommunications infrastructure. You will develop and implement quality management systems, drive continuous improvement, manage teams, ensure compliance with standards, and collaborate with various stakeholders to resolve quality issues and meet business objectives.

What you’ll do
- Implement the company's QC strategy to improve and optimize the organization's functions
- Monitor and audit all company quality control performance in multiple areas
- Manage, guide and provide expertise by defining and implementing quality control resources, guidelines, best practices and procedures
- Establish and maintain a continuous improvement program to include development of technical standards, technical audit program, implementation of an inspection and verification program, targeted training, trade contractor partnering, identification and implementation of industry best practices, and leveraging of support from various internal groups
- Document and maintain quality control performance standards and specifications
- Effectively communicate and collaborate with leadership and teams to ensure that QC strategies and programs align with regulations, corporate expectations and policies
- Manage and assist in the development of quality control procedures, programs, and training
- Manage, evaluate, and develop a team of quality control professionals to ensure that the company's activities are conducted effectively and ethically and comply with the organization's policies and standards as well as relevant regulations and laws
- Prepare reports, forecasts and budgets as required
- Travel is required (80%)
What you’ll need
- Authorization to work in the United States
- 10+ years of progressive experience in construction or telecommunications
- Strong knowledge of engineering, equipment and practices related to construction
- Technical knowledge of Hybrid Fiber Coax (HFC), Passive Optical Networks (PON), & Fiber to the premise (FTTx) architectures
- Proficient knowledge of Microsoft Office and/or Google Suites software.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment in evaluating situations and in making decisions.
- Attention to detail with an emphasis on accuracy and quality to minimize risk of errors.
- Experience independently overseeing, creating, and/or managing projects
- Experience interfacing and training an audience at varying levels
- Ability to travel
- Strong written and oral communication skills
