Enterprise Data Governance

  • Policy Enforcement: Establish and enforce enterprise-wide data standards, naming conventions, and data lifecycle policies governing Create, Read, Update, and Delete/Archive functions.
  • System Configuration: Architect and configure automated workflow approvals within SAP Master Data Governance (MDG) to ensure data is validated by the correct business stewards before entering the production environment.

  • Gatekeeping: Act as the primary gatekeeper for the "Clean Core" strategy by actively preventing rogue data entries, unauthorized customizations, and duplicate records.
  • Health Monitoring: Develop dashboards and KPIs to monitor data health, proactively identifying anomalies, orphan records, or integration failures.
  • Data Migration Leadership: Lead mass data migration and cleansing initiatives during Mergers & Acquisitions (M&A) integrations or new operating company (OpCo) rollouts.

Cross-Pillar Integration

  • Technical Collaboration: Collaborate with the technical and service pillars of the CoE to resolve data-related incidents and ensure seamless API integrations with legacy estimating, fleet, and ticketing systems.

  • Any additional industry-recognized certifications in Data Management or Architecture (e.g., DAMA/CDMP) are a strong plus.

  • Minimum of 8-10 years of experience in SAP data architecture, with deep technical proficiency in SAP S/4HANA, SAP Master Data Governance (MDG), and SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC).

  • Proven track record of defining and implementing enterprise-scale data models for Business Partners, Materials, Equipment, and complex Financial structures (Cost Centers/WBS).

  • Extensive experience establishing enterprise-wide data standards, lifecycle policies, and automated MDG workflow approvals to maintain a "Clean Core."

  • Demonstrated success leading mass data migration and cleansing initiatives during large-scale SAP rollouts or Mergers & Acquisitions.

  • Ability to partner effectively with Business Process Owners in Finance, Supply Chain, and Operations to translate business needs into technical data rules.

  • Experience developing innovation roadmaps involving data automation, AI-driven cleansing, and predictive governance models.
