What you’ll do
- Manage employee data changes, including new hires and status changes in the HRIS/payroll system.
- Maintain accurate and confidential employee files and HR documentation.
- Serve as a point of contact for employee questions related to payroll and onboarding.
- Review of time weekly employee time sheets for accuracy and adherence to union agreement.
- Other responsibilities and project work as assigned.
What you’ll need
- 1+ years of prior experience in a dedicated Payroll and/or Human Resources role.
- Proven ability to handle sensitive and confidential information with discretion.
- Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel) and/or Google Suite.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with a major Human Resources Information System (HRIS) and payroll platform (e.g., Vista, SAP, ADP, Paychex, Workday).
- Excellent organizational and time management skills.
- Ability to communicate effectively with employees and management teams.
