What you’ll do
-
Manage all litigation matters relating to corporate disputes, including filed and threatened lawsuits, arbitrations and mediations. Coordinate with outside counsel, assist with discovery, review all filings, develop litigation strategy and negotiate settlement agreements.

Coordinate with Dycom and its subsidiaries on all disputes with subcontractors, landlords, and vendors/customers. Review contracts related to any disputes or litigation matters and prepare and draft demand letters and settlement agreements.

Develop a litigation response plan for Dycom and its subsidiaries related to corporate litigation matters.

Manage and assist Dycom and its subsidiaries with all matters regarding liens, factoring agreements with subcontractors, responding to subpoenas or requests for information and handling any inquiries or matters related to possible fraudulent order or subcontractor and vendor bankruptcy issues.

Perform and coordinate litigation related due diligence with respect to acquisitions/dispositions.

As requested, draft, review and negotiate commercial contracts, subcontract agreements, leases, non-disclosure agreements, professional services agreements, vendor agreements and other contracts relating to the operations of the Company.
What you’ll need
-
To be 18 years of age or older
-
Authorization to work in the United States for this company
-
JD degree from an ABA accredited law school and Member of the FL Bar or authorized in house counsel by the FL Bar.

Significant experience in corporate legal practice, preferably with law firm or in-house experience.

Significant experience with litigation matters, including filed lawsuits, threatened lawsuits, breach of contract claims, arbitration and mediation, demand letters, discovery and negotiation and settlement of disputes.

Demonstrated experience reviewing complex commercial contracts.
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to effectively balance multiple ongoing projects.

Attention to detail and the ability to work individually, within a team, and with external partners and vendors.

Strong interpersonal skills are required as this person will have interaction with personnel at all levels of the company

Ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.

Routinely: Engage in standard office activities such as standing, sitting, and using computers for extended periods.
- Occasionally: Travel domestically up to 10% to attend team meetings or training
