The procurement specialist will research and purchase products and materials that are needed for office, warehouse, and job sites. Additional responsibilities will be responding to and tracking Requests for Quotes (RFQ) and will decisively choose the best vendor/supplier based on provided criteria. A successful Procurement Specialist shall perform procurement duties that include (but are not limited to) creating, updating, and maintaining purchase orders along with forecast planning for current & future buying trends. At a minimum the position requires a good working knowledge of general office functions; proficient in the use of word processing and spreadsheet software with emphasis on Microsoft Office; ability to use a computer and other office related equipment; ability to read, understand, interpret, input and analyze data.

Communicate with employees, contractors, vendors, and/or customers to assist assigned department/project

Read, interpret, and input data in support of an assigned department/project
What you’ll need

2 years of related work experience

Proficient in the use of office hardware and software (PCs, Tablets, Printers, Copiers, Microsoft, Google, etc.)

Excellent Customer Service skills and strong English language skills both oral and written

Authorized to work in the United States

Successful completion of pre-employment drug screen, background, and motor vehicle record check
