What you’ll do
- Follow instructions from supervisors and crew leaders
- Dig pits and trenches manually or with mechanical equipment
- Identify utilities safely in the trench/bore path
- Restore and landscape disturbed areas of the job site
- Set up and clean up job sites
- Clean vehicles, trailers, tools, and equipment
- Attend safety meetings and follow all safety protocols
- Report unsafe acts, conditions, or incidents to supervisors
- Assist in loading and unloading materials for job sites
- Operate basic hand tools as required
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- No prior experience is required, but trade or technical training is a plus
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate a vehicle, bend, stoop, stand, walk, utilization of fine hand motion, lift up to 55 pounds, use a keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally: work in confined spaces, use a portable ladder, and climb stairs
