What you’ll do
- Create an accurate and executable Scope of Work (SOW) for the required site construction/modifications based on documented information made available such as site surveys, photos, RFDS sheets, construction drawings and any other customer provided documentation.
- Creates the Bill Of Materials (BOM) associated with the SOW, taking into account any and all site nuances such as RAD center, number of antennas, number of lines, number of sectors or specific characteristics of the site that require specific/special tasks or material to complete the job.
- Quoting the SOW and submitting these quotes as required for starting the budget creation and material ordering process.
- Populate the quote with the appropriate labor and associated material required to complete the SOW, and will push the quote through to Project Controls.
- Modify the quote as required per the Project Manager (PM) through the life of the project. This will include any change to the SOW due to unforeseen circumstances and “true ups” as the project progresses and as it closes.
- Applying their industry knowledge and logic to any and all SOW’s, BOM’s, Quotes and requested modifications, raising questions and seeking solid, economically sound solutions with the market Implementation Team to any challenges that arise
What you’ll need
- At least 18 years old
- Authorized to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor’s degree in Engineering with an understanding of telecom business or other relevant technical discipline (preferred)
- 3+ years experience within the Telecommunications or Utility Construction/Maintenance industry
- Able to operate various types of utility trucks, equipment, and hand tools in a safe manner
- Able to demonstrate the ability to follow directions, produce quality work, maintain safe working habits/conditions according to all Federal, State, and Company regulations and policies
- Can communicate effectively with customers, employees, etc.
- Able to lift/carry 50 lbs regularly and up to 75 lbs as needed with or without assistance
- Able to work as needed (over-time, after hours, on weekends, for emergencies or on-call) and in all weather conditions
