You will be responsible for driving and transporting critical materials, heavy equipment, and fleet vehicles to and from various locations, directly supporting our field crews as they install vital telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

What you’ll do
-
Command the Fleet & Equipment: Safely transport, load, and unload essential materials and heavy machinery—including Directional Drills, Backhoes/Excavators, Skid Steers, Tractor Trailers, Vacuum Trucks/Trailers, and more.

Manage Warehouse Operations: Receive, inspect, accurately store, and secure all supplies and materials upon delivery. Assist the warehouse and shop teams with various daily tasks to keep the facility running seamlessly.

Master DOT Compliance: Ensure all hauled loads are properly secured in strict accordance with DOT and company safety regulations. Keep all required paperwork accessible, maintain accurate hours-of-service logs, and ensure necessary transport permits are secured before hitting the road.

Support the Field: Travel to and from diverse jobsites and locations, keeping our infrastructure projects supplied (with occasional overnight stays as needed).

Adapt and Overcome: Perform work confidently in all outdoor weather conditions and take on other duties as assigned to support the crew.
What you’ll need
CDL Class A License with endorsements (Required)
- Must be at least 18 years of age.
- Legal authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- 2+ years of experience transporting heavy construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks.
- Strong ability to work independently while actively contributing to a team environment.
- Mobility and flexibility to travel and work out of town regularly.
- Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as project demands require.
- A proactive, problem-solving mindset backed by effective communication skills.

Routinely: Working alone in remote locations and confined spaces; performing tasks with arms raised above shoulder level; operating and transporting commercial vehicles and heavy machinery; executing tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, sitting, driving long distances, and lifting weights greater than 55 pounds.
