Under the direction of the Director of PMO, this position provides leadership and direction to IT support personnel. Additionally, the IT Supervisor leads and directs as well as assists personnel to gather and review business department requirements, collaboratively design and implement solutions, maintain and document new processes, and communicate them to the end users.

What you’ll do
-
Supervises IT Support and Development staff:
-
Maintains, trains and effectively leads an appropriate workforce in coordination with Human Resources and in congruence with applicable processes and/or procedures;

Assists to recruit and hire new IT staff
-
Conducts employee performance discussions on a regular basis. Provides regular positive and negative feedback in a timely manner. Appropriately documents periodic performance reviews in accordance with current review processes and performance observations, discussions and disciplinary actions;

Creates individual employee development plans;
-
Seeks and implements opportunities for employee development;
-

Manages the IT hardware forecast and hardware inventory. Approves asset purchase requests and manages asset disposal process;
-
Manages telecommunications system accounts - audits and reconciles billing and assesses current and future need;

Assists with writing, programming and updating computer programs for use in various business functions;

Conducts systems testing to validate functionality to ensure proper operation and correct programming errors as necessary;
-
Analyzes, repairs and modifies existing programs to adapt to new business requirements;

Provides strategic business support for Director of IT and Business Analytics and other business leaders as needed;

Documents processes and procedures as they are being developed and during subsequent revisions;
-
Assists in the training of new procedures;

Works collaboratively with others to gather information and develop potential technological solutions, then oversees the development and implementation of those solutions;

Supports business analysis initiatives by providing accurate and timely reporting of business data;

Provides backup support to IT staff for network, hardware and software infrastructure needs;

Oversees IT inventory process, ensuring timely and accurate inventory reporting. This includes the oversight of IT personnel to ensure timely return or disposal of Company-owned assets in alignment with the Company’s hardware return process;

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s Degree in Information Technology and 4-6 years of related work experience or combination of education and experience;

Knowledge of and ability to troubleshoot problems/configure prominent business computer hardware, software applications and operating systems with a focus on quality including, but not limited to:

Windows 7/10; Microsoft Office;

Printer Support (TCP/IP Settings, SMTP, etc.);
-
Installing network printers and troubleshoot printer connectivity problems;
-
Knowledge of and ability to use Remote Session (e.g., LogMeIn Rescue, VNC, etc.);

Android & IOS mobile technologies;
-
Mobile Device Management (e.g., Airwatch)

Experience with Google Apps for business preferred.

MS SQL Server Databases, MS SQL Server Reporting Services / Report writing software (ie:PowerBi, SQL Server BI Development Studio, SQL Structured Query, etc.)
