What you’ll do

  • Support safety programs across assigned sites or regions
  • Assist and collaborate with safety analysts and field teams
  • Participate in incident and near-miss investigations
  • Help coordinate internal audits and prepare for inspections
  • Assist in developing and delivering safety training
  • Compile data and contribute to safety reports
  • Communicate with internal teams and support external compliance efforts
  • Help track and improve safety performance metrics
  • Support rollout of safety tools and systems
  • Promote a positive safety culture through daily interactions
  • Conduct training for new hires as needed
  • Travel across multiple offices as needed

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High school diploma or GED; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
  • Knowledge of OSHA, utility safety regulations, and field conditions
  • Certifications such as CSP, CHST, or OSHA 30 preferred
  • Valid driver’s license; must travel to various job sites

 
Additional qualifications

  • Must maintain a satisfactory driving record while in the position, as consistent safe driving behavior is essential when training or setting an example for others


Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: Climb stairs, complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10–25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations, operate vehicles
  • Occasionally: Lift 26–55 pounds, bend/stoop, perform repetitive hand movements, use portable ladders, work at heights, work in confined spaces, work with arms above shoulder level, operate heavy machinery
