What you’ll do
-
Ensure successful installation of fiber/telecom cables, materials, or support structures according to relevant codes, regulations, and customer requirements.

Safely operate specialized equipment including bucket trucks, digger derricks, and excavators.

Ensure work areas are safe and maintain smooth traffic flow while on the job site.

Safely work at heights utilizing climbing hooks and ladders.

Safely utilize hand tools and power tools (wrenches, drills, saws, etc.).

Lead by example: Provide direct guidance, mentorship, and support to crew members.

Be ready to travel for emergency storm response on short notice.

Complete daily work orders and crew checks to accurately document productivity and safety compliance.

Perform other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older.
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company.
- High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience.
- Valid state driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record.
- Must be able to pass a DOT physical exam, resulting in a valid medical card.
- Ready for Leadership: At least 3 years of related field experience, demonstrating the technical mastery required to step up and lead a crew.
- To be a certified pole climber or be willing to become certified.
- CDL Class “A” driver license is highly preferred.
Physical abilities & exposures
Routinely: Work with arms above shoulder level, at heights, in confined spaces, and alone in remote locations; operate vehicles and heavy machinery; use ladders; bend, stoop, stand, walk, climb stairs, and lift objects greater than 55 pounds.
Occasionally: Use a keyboard and mouse.
The wage range for Foreman Telecom Aerial is $32.00 - $38.00.
