What you’ll do
-
Overhead & Underground Builds: Expertly install, maintain, and repair complex aerial and underground fiber/telecom cabling, ensuring seamless performance across network systems.

Command Heavy Power Equipment: Safely operate high-powered machinery and vehicles—including bucket trucks, digger derricks, excavators, and trenchers—to execute precision utility work.

Drive Ground & Aerial Operations: Perform precision rigging, safely climb poles using hooks and ladders, and direct traffic control to keep work zones secure and efficient.

Lead by Example: Mentor crew members and assist laborers on-site, sharing expertise in hand/power tool operation, line placement, and industry best practices.

Answer the Call for Storm Response: Be ready to deploy on short notice during emergency storm recovery efforts, restoring critical communications when communities need it most.

Support Total Site Success: Execute additional construction and maintenance duties as assigned to keep projects moving forward on schedule
What you’ll need

Age & Eligibility: 18 years of age or older with legal authorization to work in the U.S.

Education: High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant field experience.

Driver’s License & CDL: Valid state driver’s license (non-provisional) with a clean driving record, plus a valid Class A Commercial Driver's License (CDL) (or strong commitment/qualification to obtain one).

Proven Experience: A minimum of 3 years of hands-on experience in telecom aerial construction and underground utility operations.
Physical Requirements & Environmental Exposures

Routinely: Work at high elevations, in confined spaces, and in remote field environments; climb stairs/ladders; bend, stoop, stand, and walk for extended periods; lift up to 55 lbs; operate commercial vehicles and heavy equipment.

Occasionally: Perform administrative desktop/data tasks using a keyboard and mouse.
The wage range for Lineman II Telecom w/CDL is $24.00 - $28.00.
