What you’ll do
In this role, your focus will be keeping our operations organized and movie forward efficiently. You will fill out forms accurately and utilize Smartsheet to ensure seamless, real-time communication and tracking across the team. Additionally, you will play a proactive role in candidate management by monitoring progress and reaching out with friendly, constructive follow-up communication to candidates who haven't completed their required tasks. By keeping a close eye on these moving parts, you will handle the following responsibilities:

Initiate and process pre-employment background, MVR, and Drug Screening

Review and audit all pre-employment documents

Perform candidate reference checks

Collect data for HR reports and update reports weekly

Assist with I9 verifications

Assist applicants of employment with questions and/or issues

Engage applicants of employment throughout the background process

Contact applicants of employment for their orientation

Assist Sr. HR team members with Orientation

Assist in processing all new hires

Maintain and update Employee Information in system

Follow established employee filing procedures

Assist and manage various processes and programs under the Human Resource teams’ scope of responsibility

All other duties assigned
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States
- Minimum High School Diploma
- One to two years’ administrative experience
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Ability to maintain confidentiality with emphasis on employee data
- Strong customer service skills and team player mindset
- Attention to detail and accuracy
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills
The wage range for Specialist Human Resources is $24.00 - $27.00.
