At North Sky Communications LLC as a Warehouse Driver, you’ll be responsible for driving and transporting materials, heavy equipment and vehicles to and from various locations, to assist operations in installing telecommunications cables and infrastructure.

What you’ll do

  • Perform work in all weather conditions

  • Receive, inspect, store and secure all supplies and materials when delivered

  • Assist warehouse and shop with various tasks as assigned

  • Safely transport, load and unload materials and heavy equipment including but not limited to: Directional Drill, Backhoe / Excavator, Skid Steer, Tractor Trailer, Vacuum Truck/Trailer, and much more

  • Responsible to make sure all loads are properly secured per DOT and company regulations

  • Make sure, when necessary, all necessary permits are obtained before transporting

  • Follow DOT and FMCSA Regulations and keep all required paperwork handy at all times

  • The Driver shall maintain hours of service log

  • Travel to and from various jobsites and locations with occasional overnight stays, as needed 

  • Other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • At least 18 years of age
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • CDL Class A License with endorsements
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
  • 2+ years of experience transporting construction equipment, utility trucks, or performing similar tasks
  • Strong ability to work independently and contribute in team environments
  • Be able to travel and work out of town regularly
  • Willingness to work overtime, weekends, and extended hours as needed
  • Ability to work safely in all weather conditions
  • Effective communication skills and a proactive problem-solving approach


Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: work alone in remote locations and confined spaces with arms above shoulder level. Operate and transport vehicles and heavy machinery. Perform tasks requiring fine hand motion, bending, stooping, standing, walking, climbing stairs, sitting, driving long distances and lifting greater than 55 pounds
  • Occasionally: use ladder, keyboard, and mouse
