What you’ll do

  • Drive & Operate: Safely transport, position, and relocate bucket trucks, trailers, and heavy equipment using your Class A CDL.

  • Power the Crew: Keep operations moving smoothly by equipping crew members with necessary tools, parts, and fiber materials.

  • Community First: Coordinate door-tag notifications and resident alerts to keep neighborhoods informed before work starts.

  • Fleet Management: Stock, inspect, clean, and maintain company vehicles to guarantee 100% daily readiness.

  • Hands-On Fieldwork: Perform manual excavation, basic maintenance, and minor equipment repairs with mechanical tools and shovels.

  • Safety & Traffic Control: Set up traffic control zones and flag traffic in compliance with local DOT guidelines.

  • Adapt & Execute: Work outdoors in all weather conditions, travel when required, and participate in scheduled on-call or overtime work.

  • Perform other duties as assigned

What you’ll need

  • Commercial Driver’s License: Valid Class A CDL with an acceptable driving record (Required).

  • DOT Certified: Ability to pass a DOT physical exam and meet standard medical guidelines.

  • Age & Eligibility: 18+ years old and legally authorized to work in the United States.

  • Education & Experience: High School Diploma / GED equivalent (or relevant field experience), plus 0–3 years of hands-on labor experience (telecom background is a major plus!).

  • Heights & Climbing: Willingness and physical capability to become a certified pole climber.

  • Physical Capability: Ability to regularly handle heavy fiber reels weighing up to 50 lbs, work at elevated heights, and work in varied weather conditions.

  • Team Mindset: Strong communication skills, sharp attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining a safe work zone.
