In this vital field role, you won't just inspect jobs; you’ll be our front-line standard bearer for safety, quality, and compliance. You’ll perform on-site inspections, run critical tests, partner with cross-functional crews to solve technical issues, assisting the field team when needed and ensure every installation meets customer and industry specifications.

What you’ll do

Field Inspections: Conduct routine and milestone inspections during installation to verify work aligns with engineering plans, specifications, and safety codes. Assist the field team with additional tasks needed to complete the project.

Final Quality Checks: Perform thorough customer-requested final inspections to sign off on overall project quality and standard compliance.

Issue Resolution: Spot defects, non-compliance, or safety hazards early; report findings clearly and collaborate with field teams to fix issues promptly.

Testing & Documentation: Ensure all required field tests are executed correctly, maintain precise record-keeping, and track issues to full resolution.

Field Leadership: Support project timelines, track key milestones, and maintain high standards across all weather conditions and job sites.

What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable driving record
- One year of relevant work experience
Additional qualifications
- Quality control experience preferred
- Associates Degree in an industry related field or equivalent work experience
- Knowledge and understanding of the telecommunication construction industry standard practices
- Knowledge of Customer Installation Standards and Documentation
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: work alone in remote locations, operate vehicle, squeeze, bend, stoop, stand, walking, climb stairs, use keyboard and mouse
- Occasionally: work at heights, use ladder, life greater than 55 pounds, use construction equipment such as shovels (flat head and round point), spades, pickaxes, mattocks, post-hole diggers, and tampers for soil compaction.
The wage range for Technician Quality Control Field is $27.00 - $32.00.
