The position of Office Manager is responsible for implementing and enforcing policies and procedures, as well as streamlining effective office coordination processes and operations. This position is highly visible and requires a strong leader with the ability to prioritize, plan, and direct the work flow within the office as well as assist other departments as needed.

What you’ll do
- Enforces companywide policies and procedures to ensure compliance among office staff
- May assist in month-end closing procedures
- Manages and assists with paid time off requests, time sheets and any payroll related items
- Manages department calendar
- Assists with new hire position requests including system access; paperwork and I-9 documentation
- Office supply orders including CINTAS requests, office cleaning company management
- Assists engineering team with material order requests
- Ensures all required training in the engineering department is up-to-date and compliant with corporate requirements
- Assists with purchase orders, tool and field equipment inventory
- Assists with completing maintenance requests for repairs of equipment
- Ensures work is completed and documented in appropriate billing system
- Helps coordinate safety meetings
- Assists in coordination of engineering department meetings and development opportunities
- Helps ensure team development and growth of department
- Works closely with Engineering Leadership Team as needed to solve problems as they arise
- Assists in ensuring all tasks are completed as required by corporate or local operations management
- Acts as point of contact for subcontractors, employees, customers and the public as needed
- Assists in performing evaluations of direct reports and conducting routine meetings to ensure employee growth.
- Other office related duties as assigned by direct manager.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
- May include working nights and holidays as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
Additional qualifications
Education/Experience Requirements:
- 2 – 4 years of office leadership experience including personnel development and oversight
- Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.
Reasoning Ability:
- Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions that are provided in written, oral or drawing. Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations. Ability to collect, organize, disseminate and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.
Mathematical Skills:
- Ability to calculate figures and amounts (measurements in terms of distance, proportions, percentages and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.
Language Skills:
- Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules and requirements, machine manuals of operation and process procedures. Ability to write information including reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors and coworkers up through all levels of management and staff as well as the general public.
Software Requirements:
- Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
- Must have general computer knowledge.

Pay Range: The Annual wage range for the Office Manager role is $60,000 - $70,000 depending on experience.
