The Project Manager will be responsible for a variety of tasks and projects as assigned. Typical tasks will range in size and complexity.  This position will be assisting the General Manager with various large scale projects and tasks as needed and may potentially take the lead on upcoming projects as assigned by customer.

What you’ll do

• Maintain all program documentation, files, and records.
• Manage assigned program tasks and customer communications.
• Prepare cost and revenue estimates and complete project close-outs.
• Track weekly accruals, scheduling needs, and crew makeups.
• Provide weekly reports, review subcontractor invoices, and ensure accurate billing and revenue.
• Forecast monthly/yearly performance and explain variances.
• Set up new projects, create purchase orders, and review designs/takeoffs.
• Coordinate with Finance, Accounting, and Billing for project setup and reporting.
• Use KPIs to monitor project health and support Operations by removing obstacles.
• Oversee project progress, risks, materials, and customer experience.
• Coordinate critical path, procurement, resource planning, and issue resolution.
• Report project and program status to stakeholders and track change/delay impacts.
• Perform other project management duties as assigned. 

What you’ll need

Minimum Education/Experience Requirements:

  • 3 -5  years of experience in delivering OSP Telecommunications services or utility related industry services
  • Any combination of education and/or experience that demonstrates ability to perform the designated job duties and responsibilities of the position.

Reasoning Ability:

  • Ability to make common sense understanding to carry out instructions that are provided in written, oral or drawing. Ability to deal with and understand problems involving different variables in many varied situations. Ability to collect, organize, disseminate and analyze significant amounts of information with attention to detail and accuracy.

Mathematical Skills:

  • Ability to calculate figures and amounts (measurements in terms of distance, proportions, percentages and area. Ability to apply concepts of basic mathematics including algebra and geometry.

Language Skills:

  • Ability to read, understand and interpret documents such as safety rules and requirements, machine manuals of operation and process procedures. Ability to write information including reports. Ability to speak effectively to customers, vendors and coworkers up through all levels of management and staff.

Software Requirements:

  • Must have strong proficiency in Microsoft Office Products (Word, Excel, Powerpoint)
  • Must have general computer knowledge.

  • Duties outlined in this position will require the employee to stand, crouch, sit, bend, and use hands and fingers to handle or feel as well as reaching with hands and arms to spaces both high and low.

  • Employees performing these job functions are required to frequently lift or move up to 50 pounds in a shift. Employees are required to evaluate the size, weight and circumstance of any item or load before lifting or moving anything greater than 50 pounds

Pay Range: The annual salary for the Project Manager role is $73,000 - $102,000, depending on experience
