The Lead Talent Acquisition is critical in leading the recruiting function for Pauley’s corporate office and supporting the recruitment effort for our organizations 20+ locations in the United States. We work independently in a fast paced environment with a great deal of autonomy and responsibility, so it is key that you have a strong work ethic and are ready to add value to our team on day one.
Successful individuals will partner with business leaders, hiring managers and HR professionals to establish and drive overall talent acquisition strategies. Primary focus is on IT and professional positions.

What you’ll do
- Executing effective recruiting strategies, plans and processes that ensure diversity, high quality and strong organizational fit
- Coordinates efforts with staffing agencies when utilized
- Focuses on process improvement/expense reduction for both Corporate and Subsidiary talent acquisition activities
- Possess strong commitment to an internal consultative approach and closely manage the recruitment process to ensure candidate decisions are made in a timely manner according to processes and standards
- Establish regular strategic staffing sessions to determine priority pipeline positions
- Implementing best practices and technology and delivering on metrics
- Operationally responsible for attracting, selecting and hiring IT technical, professional and management candidates
- Deliver exceptional customer service with a primary focus on operational excellence, proactive, competitive and cost-effective recruitment solutions
- Facilitate and implement training and education for subsidiary recruiting teams on various subjects areas such as sourcing, talent selection, recruiting pipeline management and behavioral interviewing
- Coach supervisors and managers on best hiring practices, implements talent programs, such as internships and referral programs, to cultivate a robust talent pipeline.
- Design and improve key staffing processes and applicant tools. Monitor processes for customer satisfaction.
- Develop creative recruitment solutions for difficult positions
- Prepare and present regular management staffing reports of key staffing metrics including time-to-fill, attrition, diversity, cost etc.
- Develop and maintain networking relationships with community and alumni organizations, colleges and universities, and industry organizations
- Ensures compliance with all local, state and federal laws and regulations, including Affirmative Action and diversity initiatives.
- Completes candidate background screens, reference checks and pre-employment testing.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Must possess a valid driver’s license.
- Must be able to pass a background check and company drug screening.
- Must be able to attend and pass all company required training as needed.
- May be required to work over-time; after hours; on weekends or be on-call as work is needed to ensure work is completed.
- May include working nights and holidays as needed.
- Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
Additional qualifications
- Experience working with SuccessFactors is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree preferred with 5+ years in a senior or lead role
- SPHR or PHR certification preferred but not required
- Expert knowledge in all full lifecycle recruiting components including, job analysis, networking, sourcing and selecting, offer negotiation and closing
- Experience with an applicant tracking system as well as internet search and networking tools is required
- Ability to prioritize deadlines in a fast paced environment
- Demonstrated success in developing talent acquisition strategies and driving process improvement
- Experience managing relationships with senior leaders and collaborating with key stakeholders across teams and enterprise
- Knowledge of compensation, principles and practices
- Experience managing executive level search
- Experience working in a team-oriented, collaborative environment
- Excellent verbal and written communications skills
- Strong negotiation skills
- Highly motivated self-starter with proven organizational skills and strong attention to detail
- Strong business acumen to understand business strategy and organizational needs and the ability to analyze and present data
- Must be results oriented
- Bilingual (Spanish/English) communication skills are a plus.

Pay Range: The Annual wage range for the Lead Talent Acquisition role is $75,000 - $85,000 depending on experience.
