What you’ll do
- Analyze warehouse inventory data to identify trends, discrepancies, and opportunities for process improvement.
- Recommend to warehouse manager and help implement strategies that optimize inventory accuracy and warehouse efficiency.
- Maintain and extract reports from SAP related to inventory levels, stock movements, and order fulfillment.
- Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and generate regular reports for management.
- Identify and investigate inventory variances, root causes, and implement corrective actions.
- Support cycle counting, inventory audits, and reconciliations.
- Assist in demand forecasting, space planning, and product flow optimization.
- Ensure data integrity within SAP and collaborate with IT or external support as needed to resolve system issues.
- Recommend improvements to inventory control policies and warehouse procedures.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- Bachelor’s degree in Supply Chain, Logistics, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
- 2+ years of experience in logistics, inventory management, or supply chain analysis.
- Hands-on experience with SAP (preferably modules related to inventory and warehouse management).
- Proficient in Excel and data analysis tools.
- Strong analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced warehouse environment.
- Attention to detail and a continuous improvement mindset.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with warehouse management systems (WMS).
- Lean or Six Sigma certification a plus.
- Familiarity with manufacturing or distribution environments.
The wage range for Sr Specialist Inventory Management is $28.00 - $33.00.
