What you’ll do

  • Report to Billerica, MA office Monday through Friday 7 AM to 3:30 PM.
  • Provision, configure, and deploy new computers, monitors, and peripheral equipment.
  • Respond to help desk tickets and support requests in a timely and professional manner.
  • Troubleshoot and resolve company issued hardware, software, and connectivity issues for end users.
  • Maintain accurate records of assets, configurations, and technical documentation.
  • Assist with onboarding/offboarding technology setup for employees.
  • Refer contracted hardware problems or defective products to vendors for service.
  • Completes projects as assigned in the IT area.
  • Maintain accurate records of all IT equipment including computers and mobile devices.
  • Track asset life-cycle from procurement through disposal
  • Other IT related tasks as assigned by supervisor/manager.

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company  
  • Have dependable transportation to get to Billerica, MA office.
  • 1 year of IT support experience in a business environment.
  • Strong knowledge of Windows OS, Microsoft Office, and cloud-based tools (e.g., Microsoft 365).
  • Basic networking knowledge (IP addressing, routers, modems, Wi-Fi setup).
  • Experience with provisioning tools and remote desktop/support platforms.
  • Excellent problem-solving and interpersonal skills.
  • May be required to work over-time; after hours as needed to ensure work is completed.
  • May include working nights and holidays as needed.
  • Regular and timely attendance is an essential function of this position.
  • Provide technical support for computers running Windows and mobile devices running iOS environments
  • Diagnose and resolve hardware and software issues
  • Install, configure, and update applications.
  • Document support tickets and maintain resolution records
  • Familiarity with Active Directory and user account management
  • Experience with remote desktop tools and ticketing systems

The wage range for Onsite IT Support Specialist is $27.00  - $27.00.
