What you’ll do
- Ensure compliance with all local, state, and federal permitting requirements.
- Prepare, review, and submit permit applications to regulatory agencies.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including engineering and construction, to gather necessary permitting documentation.
- Maintain relationships with permitting agencies to facilitate smooth approvals.
- Provide guidance to project teams on regulatory requirements and best practices.
- Track multiple permits and proactively address potential delays.
- Research and analyze permitting trends and regulatory changes affecting the industry.
- Assist in responding to permit-related inquiries from government agencies or stakeholders.
- Support audits and internal compliance checks related to permits.
- Identify process improvements for faster and more efficient permitting workflows.
What you’ll need

Age Requirement: Must be 18 years of age or older.

Experience & Training: Minimum of 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training in a related field.

Education:

High School Diploma or GED equivalent required, or at least two years of basic understanding of permitting processes.

Associate’s or Bachelor’s Degree in related field is preferred.

Technical Skills:

Proficiency with AutoCAD 2026 is required.

Work Authorization: Must be authorized to work in the United States for this company.

Industry Knowledge:
-
Strong understanding of telecommunications industry standards.

Familiarity with aerial, buried, and underground construction methods, including make-ready engineering, pole loading, and conduit design.

Knowledge of permitting processes within the telecommunications industry, including requirements and procedures for obtaining Local, County, State, and Federal Government permits.

Awareness of utility coordination practices, right-of-way (ROW) regulations, and environmental and safety compliance standards applicable to telecom infrastructure projects.
