What you’ll do

  • Coordinate and assist with the execution of plans supporting the organization's long-term permitting strategy
  • Work closely with Engineering to create and review permit drawings and packages
  • Research/navigate complex databases and use critical thinking analysis to provide proper permit applications according to known practices and guidelines.
  • Acquire permit fee amounts, complete permit application, and submit check requests ensuring timely permitting submittal and on time performance of the permitting process.
  • Prioritize permit submittals based upon review/lead times and schedules.
  • Determine requirements for permit and plan submissions, including review and updates to standards and forms if required.
  • Maintain detailed records and reports related to all communication and interaction with permitting agencies.

What you’ll need

  • To be 18 years of age or older 
  • Minimum 1+ years of relevant work experience, formal trade, or technical skills training
  • Authorization to work in the United States for this company
  • High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or up to two years of basic understanding of permitting processes
  • Associate’s or Bachelor's Degree in a related field is preferred


Physical abilities & exposures

  • Routinely: Work alone in remote locations, use keyboard and mouse
  • Occasionally: Climbing stairs, Standing, Walking, operates vehicles
