At TCS Communications, LLC, as an Underground Foreman, you’ll lead crews installing and maintaining underground telecommunication systems. You’ll be at the center of operations, guiding your team and ensuring projects are completed safely, efficiently, and on schedule. This role combines hands-on work with leadership, mentoring your crew, keeping everyone aligned with safety and quality standards, and serving as the point of contact for project coordination. 

What you’ll do

  • Lead crews to complete underground telecom projects on time and to specification.
  • Train and mentor crew members, fostering a skilled and safety-conscious team.
  • Read, interpret, and apply blueprints and technical drawings accurately.
  • Ensure adherence to company safety policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations.
  • Assist the Supervisor with daily operations and project management tasks.
  • Communicate professionally with property owners regarding planned work and resolve any issues.
  • Safely operate heavy equipment and machinery as needed.
  • Perform hands-on work in all weather conditions.
  • Take on additional duties as assigned to support team and project success.

What you’ll need

  • 18+ years old and authorized to work in the U.S.
  • Valid driver’s license
  • High School Diploma, GED, or equivalent experience
  • 3+ years of related experience; previous Foreman experience preferred
  • Proven ability to lead crews and meet project timelines
  • Skilled in reading and interpreting blueprints and technical drawings
  • Strong knowledge of safety policies, OSHA standards, and DOT regulations
  • Experience mentoring and training team members
  • Excellent communication skills for working with property owners and crews
  • Ability to assist with daily operations and project management
  • Physically able to work in remote locations, confined spaces, and lift 55+ lbs
  • Safely operate vehicles and heavy machinery
  • Occasional use of ladders, keyboard, and mouse
