The Administrative Assistant for Quality Control provides essential administrative support to the Quality Control team, ensuring efficient operations and accurate record-keeping. This role is crucial in maintaining quality standards by managing documentation related to project deviations and customer audits and facilitating communication between Quality Control and other departments. This is an entry-level professional position designed for individuals who are organized, detail-oriented, and eager to build a career in Quality Control within the construction/telecom industry. This position is 100% on-site.

What you’ll do

  • Communicate with contracts department and contractor who completed the work
  • Review audits for discrepancies
  • Review quality control photos and submit photos to customers
  • Provide essential administrative support for Supervisors
  • Participate in ongoing training and professional development.
    Support company policies, procedures, and safety initiatives.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.
  • Some travel may be required.

What you’ll need

Required:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Proven experience in an administrative or clerical role, preferably within a construction or quality control environment.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
  • Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills.

Preferred:

  • Associate or bachelor’s degree in a relevant field.
  • Familiarity with quality management systems and construction terminology.
  • Experience in processing sensitive or confidential documentation.

 

The wage range for Quality Control Specialist is $22.00  - $28.00.
