What you’ll do
- Develops, maintains and updates project documentation;
- Performs various program tasks as assigned by project leadership;
- Develops and maintains effective and complete project files (physical and/or electronic);
- Acts as backup to other project personnel (either within the same project or assisting with other
projects) as directed; - Responsible for the material purchasing process including issuing POs, determining appropriate
timing of material orders (ensuring best price while meeting job needs), and purchase tracking
(ensuring in-time delivery). - Orders and coordinates project supplies to arrive on time and at the correct location.
- Receives new material shipments and verifies order content and completeness.
- Develops and creates reporting for Min/Max levels, material demand, forecast and budget
purposes. - Manages inventory for specific jobs by communicating with Supervisors and staging materials
from each job’s pick list. - Communicates inventory needs the Supply Chain Manager.
- Aids in holding employees and subcontractors accountable to appropriate documentation of
inventory as it is taken and returned to designated yards/warehouses. - Maintains location(s) inventory list by allocating inventory to individual jobs and tracking inventory
changes using a scanner, computer and/or inventory system software.
What you’ll need
- Associates degree in an industry related field or equivalent combination of education and
experience; - Strong written and verbal communication;
- Familiarity with Inventory tracking systems and hardware.
- Basic math skills including but not limited to addition, subtraction, multiplication, division in all
units of measure and using whole numbers, fractions and decimals; - Ability to read and comprehend various written and data driven correspondence including but not
limited to production reports, project work orders, prints, etc; - Basic computer operating and data entry skills;
Experience with basic computer software systems including but not limited to Database, Internet,
