We are seeking a Safety Analyst to oversee field operations, conduct safety audits, and maintain a strong culture of safety across all job sites and facilities. In this role, you will bridge the gap between field crews and management by performing routine site checks, managing safety equipment, and fostering positive working relationships with our teams.
Candidate must live within driving distance of Marion, IA and be willing to travel up to 75% around Iowa.

What you’ll do

Field & Gate Inspections: Conduct regular gate checks, field audits, and crew site visits to ensure strict adherence to safety protocols and compliance standards.

Safety Culture & Relationship Building: Actively engage with crews in the field to build trust, promote open communication, and cultivate a positive safety culture.

Audit & Compliance Management: Maintain accurate audit records, track findings, and implement continuous improvement measures based on audit insights.

Facility & Equipment Upkeep: Oversee building safety maintenance, including inspecting and maintaining fire extinguishers across all facilities.

Inventory Control: Monitor, restock, and manage inventory levels for office supplies and essential Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) to ensure crews are fully equipped.
Qualifications:

Proven experience conducting field safety audits and job-site inspections.

Hands-on knowledge of OSHA regulations, PPE standards, and facility safety compliance.

Strong interpersonal skills with a proven track record of building positive relationships with field crews.

Excellent organizational skills to manage safety documentation, audit reports, and inventory.
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in safety analysis, operations reporting, or compliance support
- Proficiency with Excel and experience using Power BI or other data platforms
- Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks with high accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills
- Offers are contingent on successful completion of background, drug test and DOT physical.
Physical abilities & exposures
- Routinely: Complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10–25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations
- Occasionally: Climb stairs, lift 26–55 pounds, operate vehicles
The wage range for Safety Analyst is $70,000.00 - $80,000.00.
