What you’ll do
Overview:
Under the direction of the Payroll Manager, this position performs administrative and data entry functions correlated with processing weekly multi-state payroll.
Responsibilities:
- Accurately and efficiently enters employee time records, as necessary, according to the Company’s weekly
- pay schedule.
- Accurately maintains data accounting and payroll records and systems.
- Documents/tracks employee PTO requests following Company processes.
- Processes garnishment and child support orders including processing the set up and termination of such
orders.
- Responds to written requests for payroll-related data from internal and external stakeholders utilizing
- Company policy and procedure, and in compliance with any governmental requirement.
- Follows established departmental processes.
- Other duties as assigned.
What you’ll need
Qualifications, Skills and Experience:
- Minimum of associate degree in accounting or other related field, or equivalent work experience.
- Acute attention to detail.
- Ability to read and understand written and verbal instructions, correspondence and memos.
- Effective and respectful written and verbal communication.
- Ability to complete essential job functions in a fast-paced and strict deadline-driven environment.
- Team oriented, keeping the organizational needs at the forefront.
- Familiarity with Google-based applications such as G-mail, Google docs and sheets.
- Proficient use of Internet software and databases.
- Understanding and use of general arithmetic such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division using whole numbers, fractions and decimals.
- Minimum of 2 years of payroll experience, including multi-state payroll.
- Excellent communication, analytical, and presentation skills.
- Exceptional attention to detail and organizational skills.
- Experience using WFS, RTASQ and SAP (Success Factors).
- Additional duties as assigned.
Scheduling:
- Must be available to work shifts, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
