What you’ll do
Responsibilities:
- Assist in the recruitment efforts.
- Responsible for the administration of all stages of the employee lifecycle, including but not limited to employee onboarding, changes, separations and updates.
- Build positive relationships with all employees (current & future), regardless of position within the company with a strong focus on customer service.
- Assist in coordinating screening & interviews, create candidate profiles and assist in streamlining recruitment and onboarding procedures.
- Facilitate the onboarding process for new hires, from offer letters to initial orientations to ensure a smooth transition into the company.
- Assist with maintaining employee data in RAIR to ensure safety compliance.
- Manage onboarding processes from start to finish, including DOT related items, and other compliance requirements.
- Assist with employee relations issues.
- Prepare and post job requisitions.
- Provide regular updates to managers regarding new hire status.

What you’ll need
- 2 years of experience in human resources, recruitment or a related area.
- Knowledge of employment law and best practices for recruiting.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to exercise sound judgment and maintain confidentiality.
- Must be organized and able to work independently.
- Ability to build relationships and collaborate effectively with all teams.
- Ability to travel to sites for possible new hire orientations.
- Ability to maintain professionalism and confidentiality.
- Recruit and train new employees.
