A successful Fiber Splicing Supervisor shall be responsible for coordinating and managing field operations for Fiber-To-The-Home (FTTH) OSP Fiber Construction. Supervise, inspect, and monitor all work in conformance with the company, local and federal standards, and specifications. At a minimum, the position requires a good working knowledge of Fiber Telecommunications Construction, familiarity with splicing equipment, and knowledge of management reporting fundamentals.

What you’ll do
- Manage in-house and subcontracted resources performing OSP fiber plant work
- Supervise, develop, and provide leadership to employees of assigned departments or projects.
- Oversee all onsite and offsite fiber construction to monitor compliance and safety regulations
- Accurately forecast resource requirements based on completion deadlines
- Ensure quality construction standards while using proper construction techniques
- Communicate effectively with customers to inform them of project progress, issues ad projected completion dates.
- Review tasks and reports to ensure accuracy, completeness, and compliance.
- Develop a strong working relationship with managers to maximize new opportunities for revenue
- Conduct pre-construction meetings
- Additional Duties as assigned.

What you’ll need
- 3+ of experience in the fiber / telecommunications / telecom construction industry
- Supervision of construction and/or splicing crews, familiarity with instruments used to splice, test and/or run trouble on outside plant fiber cabling, and knowledge of management reporting fundamentals
- Project management skills include planning, organizing, and coordinating tasks
- Strong Microsoft Office computer skills
- Able to multitask and prioritize.
- High school diploma or equivalent
- Must have a valid unrestricted driver's license of at least 2 years.
- Must pass a background check, drug test, and motor vehicle check.
- Authorized to work in the United States
