This is an exciting opportunity to join the Operations Team at UtiliQuest, LLC as a Leak Survey Supervisor supporting our Mid-Atlantic Region. The Leak Survey Supervisor reports directly to the Operations Center Manager. In this role, the ideal candidate will manage the workflow of their employees, creating team schedules and delegating tasks. He/She will assess the work performance of their employees and identify areas that need improvement. The Field Supervisor will also ensure that business goals, deadlines, and performance standards are met, set goals for the technicians and make sure they comply with the company’s plans and vision.

What you’ll do
-
Build and supervise a team of Leak Survey Technicians who are driven and understand the key performance indicators and economic engines of the business.

Promote and maintain a strong safety culture for all employees.

Conduct daily and weekly planning meetings to ensure quality control is in place.

Conduct audits on field personnel to ensure quality standards are being met.

Conduct performance reviews and provides regular performance feedback and development opportunities for technicians

Create and maintain good working relationships with clients - Washington Gas

Assist Technicians with Leak Survey issues to find gas leaks

Collaborate with the HR and Talent Acquisition Team to identify staffing needs, interview and make final hiring decisions.

Operate company vehicles in a safe manner and maintain a professional appearance

Validate and approve daily personnel time reports

Develops, mentors and evaluates technicians and has the overall responsibility for employee engagement and morale.

Complete JSO’s (Job Safety Observations) of technicians

Daily production and weekend work required, as needed.

Training all technicians in the entire process of Leak Survey process as required

Completes other duties, as needed

Completes and maintains all training

Drive safely and follow company safe driving policies

Maintain punctuality and attendance at all shifts and training sessions

Perform work in all weather conditions, during normal and after hours
-
Regular use of hands and fingers to operate specialized equipment and tools

Reaching overhead above the shoulders and horizontally; bending at the waist; standing and or walking for extended periods of time
-
The employee must frequently lift and/or move up to 25 pounds.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, and ability to adjust focus.

Will need to have the ability to work a flexible schedule (some evenings and weekends) as needed.
What you’ll need

To be 18 years of age or older

Authorization to work in the United States for this company

High School Diploma, GED equivalent, or relevant work experience
-
Valid State driver's license (cannot be Provisional), including an acceptable MVR record
Physical abilities & exposures
-
Routinely: work alone in remote locations with arms above shoulder level, operate vehicle, squeeze, fine hand motion, bend, stoop, stand, walk, lift up to 55 pounds, use keyboard and mouse

Occasionally: use portable ladder, work in confined spaces and climb stairs
The wage range for Supervisor Gas Labor is $50,000.00 - $60,000.00.
