At VCI Construction as a Safety Analyst, you’ll be responsible for ensuring personnel compliance with company safety policies as well as Local, State and Federal regulations. The position will work to create and maintain a strong “Behavior Based” safety program via “focused” employee training, supported by regular observations and inspections in the field. The ability to multitask, while maintaining complex schedules and managing administrative support, is essential in this position. The ideal candidate for this job is resourceful, a good problem solver and well organized. Assuring a steady completion of workload in a timely manner is key to success in this position.

What you’ll do
- Maintain and audit safety data across internal systems
- Analyze incident trends and support root cause tracking
- Monitor training and certification compliance across regions
- Assist in data collection and analysis to support the creation of dashboards and reports for safety KPIs
- Prepare monthly and quarterly summary reports
- Support site audits and maintain documentation
- Provide reporting support during inspections or audits
- Coordinate data collection with field and office personnel
- Ensure accuracy of safety recordkeeping
- Assist with continuous improvement of reporting tools
What you’ll need
- To be 18 years of age or older
- Authorization to work in the United States for this company
- High school diploma, GED, or equivalent; associate or bachelor’s degree preferred
- 3 years of experience in safety analysis, operations reporting, or compliance support
- Proficiency with Excel and experience using Power BI or other data platforms
- Ability to manage multiple reporting tasks with high accuracy
- Strong communication and problem-solving skills

- Routinely: Complete and maintain training, use keyboard/mouse, lift 10–25 pounds, stand, walk, work alone in remote locations
- Occasionally: Climb stairs, lift 26–55 pounds, operate vehicles
